DeKalb Community Service Board (DeKalb CSB), a public, nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of evidence-based behavioral health and developmental disability services to individuals in need, announced today that two new members have been selected to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors.  The new members include Debra DeBerry, Clerk of Superior Court of DeKalb County and Commissioner Stan Watson of DeKalb County Super District 7.  DeBerry and Commissioner Watson’s appointment expands the DeKalb CSB Board to 12 directors.

Clerk Debra DeBerry is a 20-year resident of DeKalb County with over 35 years of experience in the public and private sector. In 2002, her career in DeKalb County began as Chief Deputy Clerk of Superior Court. In her current position as Clerk of Superior Court, DeBerry manages over one hundred employees who provide services to the citizens of the county and she also manages an annual budget of over $6 million dollars.

Commissioner Stan Watson is a dedicated and proven leader who has served DeKalb County in volunteer and in elected positions for over thirty (30) years. He is a former member of the Georgia General Assembly, serving for twelve years. He is the former Chairman of the DeKalb House Delegation and the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus.
